RaddHatter.com asked Mind Expressions to create a logo aimed at a target market of the Red Hat Society. This is a group of over 50 women who gather periodically to chat, party and have fun together. The client wanted to create original artwork with scenes of Red Hat Society life. Then they would market these pieces to the group and have a website the women could buy the pieces from. Our idea was to use the "hat" symbol and the colors to make the corporate mark recognizeable and stick in the minds of the target market. The whole design used a "ribbon" feel to create the company name and to make sure the website was included with all references to the name we added the .com under the name. This creates an automaic referral to the website any time people look at the logo. After the logo creation the client has created the corporate website and had great success with the "Red Hat" artwork. This project was a success because of the personal relationship with the client, and Mind Expressions ability to work within their budget to get the job done.
